Disappointing Discoveries....

So yesterday I went by SONIC to get one of my new favorite drinks. You see I used to love having my ALL-TIME fave of a diet coke with vanilla and Route 44 size was the best!!! Now that I am on ND I needed to find something with no calories and I knew that good ole vanilla syrup that they use was loaded with sugar. SO...I discovered a new favorite of a Diet Sprite Slush. The cool slushy texture combined with a yummy lemon lime soda was just delish! Anyway...I have had SEVERAL of these yummy delights over the past 2 1/2 weeks thinking that there was no extra calories in them, just diet soda and crushed up ice! BOY WAS I WRONG ON THAT ONE!!!! Driving into SONIC yesterday I had my heart set on that scrumptious Diet Sprite Slush! When I ordered the voice on the other end of the intercom said..."You do know that the Slush mix has sugar in it right?" And a choked out "Nooooo". What??? You're kidding me right? This is some kind of crazy joke? It can't be true that my NEW FAVORITE DRINK HAS SUGAR IN IT????? I wanted to scream AHHHHHHHHHHHGGGG!!!!!! But instead I politely said, "Then I will just have a medium Diet Sprite please". :)
